Cancellation Policy

To ensure ongoing support for families and clients, it is essential for all clients to be aware of Speak and Thrive Therapy’s appointment cancellation policy. Please note that this policy may change at any time; however, current clients will receive an update or new copy via email when such changes occur.

Cancellation Notice:

We request a minimum of 48 hours (business days) advance notice for any appointment cancellation or rescheduling appointments. Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in a cancellation fee.

Cancellation Fee:

If you do not provide the required notice for appointment cancellation or rescheduling, the full fee for your appointment will be charged.

Rescheduling:

Should you wish to reschedule your appointment, we will do our best to accommodate your request based on availability. If a reschedule is not requested or cannot be accommodated within the week, it will be treated as a cancelled appointment.

No-Shows:

If you fail to show up for your scheduled appointment without prior notice, this will be considered a “no-show.” No-shows will incur a cancellation fee.

Other Circumstances:

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we are willing to make exceptions for emergencies or unavoidable situations. In such cases, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your situation and possible alternatives.

To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please email or text your clinician.
